Ceramiche Artistiche Vietrese is rightfully considered the most widely-appreciated series by Giovanni De Maio. This is not surprising! The hand-painted backgrounds and decors, rich natural color gamut and versatility of expressive means make Ceramiche Artistiche Vietrese a flexible solution intended for absolutely different premises. Ceramiche Artistiche Vietrese is a collection of majolica tiles. Here, the backgrounds are offered in three variations: Bianco Vietri (white glossy tiles), Pennellati (tiles painted with brush) and Spugnati (tiles painted using natural sea sponge). The palette of Ceramiche Artistiche Vietrese consists of 25 colors and shades. The plain tiles are of two shapes: squares of 10×10, 13×13, 20×20, 30×30 cm and rectangles of 15×30, 10×20, 7.5×30 cm. Due to manual production, the size and shape of these tiles may slightly differ. The decorative pieces of Ceramiche Artistiche Vietrese are subdivided into several groups. For instance, Mediterranea is an example of magnificent majolica, I Giardini Vietresi are distinguished by delicate floral motifs, Le Geometrie — by clear lines and shapes. In addition, the series offers several beautiful panels (a vase with fruits, a bowl with flowers, a seascape, etc.). Ceramiche Artistiche Vietrese is primarily intended for the Provence-style interiors, for example, bathrooms. Another collection in the same style to mention is Neo Romantico.
