The Italian manufacturer Cooperativa Ceramica d'Imola has more than 140 years of history, possesses three globally recognized tile brands (ImolaCeramica, LaFaenza, Leonardo) and seven production facilities. The annual company output amounts to 30 mln sqm of tile. At the last Cersaie event, Cooperativa Ceramica d'Imola announced the decision to substantially reshape the company image and launch 16 brand-new tile series.

The upgraded corporate identity and logo have added zest and vivacity to the image of ImolaCeramica. The image of LaFaenza has been enhanced by the elements, which symbolize energy and sensuality rendered through the elegant graphic lines. As regards Leonardo, the brand has been given a modern twist to keep pace with the time. The brand identity has become minimalist and refined.

ImolaCeramica came up at Cersaie 2015 with nine utterly new tile collections. We would like to briefly describe a few.

The Kuni series is ideated as large slabs of 60×180 cm, rarely employed for the wood effect tile. The experimental backgrounds of 60×180 cm are enhanced by the conventional elongated items of 20×180 and 20×120 cm, as well as by the smaller tile of 60×60 and 15×60 cm. Owing to the cute chicken and graffiti patterns, the booth of ImolaCeramica at Cersaie 2015 has become truly unique.

The Shades collection is ideated to evoke the beauty of the Mediterranean Coast. The series captivates by the juicy sunlit palette composed of aquamarine, beige, yellow, orange and red, as well as by the "fish scale" mosaic.

Mash-up by ImolaCeramica originates from the power of two neutral colors: white and almond. The collection is offered in the unique classical size of 30×60 cm. The series catches the eye by the diversity of patterns and textures. The cute chicken also highlight the Mash-up decors.

Wave is an elegant tile series, where the 12.5×33.3 cm backgrounds are offered in two surface finishes. The items with glossy surface and fine ripples are available in seven shadings with gradual transition from the lighter ones to those darker. The matt pieces are produced in three light colors.

Ego by LaFaenza fuses the textures of concrete and wood, captivating by the velvety dusty effect. The collection is inspired by the coffering, which is reinterpreted in sober colors to reflect the contemporary design trends.

What is more, the designers of LaFaenza recommend complementing Ego by the Nirvana items, excellently matchable with Ego in style and color gamut. According to the designer concept, Nirvana renders a "sun kissed" wood deck, which bears the impress of time. The backgrounds of 60×180, 20×180 and 20×120 cm have the typical shape of wood planks.

More is ideated to reproduce the primary treatment of stone, which leaves deep oppositely directed notches. The collection embraces perfectly coordinating variations: More, which renders the tactile surface of stone, and More Arch, which bears the traces of surface treatment.
