Brix is an Italian company, established in 2001, when the market of ceramic and porcelain tile was already crowded, and it seemed absolutely impossible to develop an utterly different product capable of attracting the experienced customers. It is a paradox, but the founders of Brix prefer to keep out of the rivalries within the dominating trends and hold true to the company philosophy. Brix aims not just at being different from the competitors, but at creating something absolutely different, attaining perfection. The company is committed to following the way it has chosen one day — key values, its signature style and policy. Brix is constantly searching for individuality. However, this is a hard work that requires passion, diligence and zeal.
Nowadays, Brix has gained the world-wide recognition and attempts to diversify its activity outside the ceramics industry. The articles by Brix are found in various design studios, for which previously ceramic tile was of no interest.
Claudio La Viola, the company artistic director, has put forward an idea, eagerly supported by his partners, that the production of ceramics and porcelain stoneware should not be limited to an out-of-the-box creative concept. Therefore, Brix collaborates with various designers, whose artistic principles are in tune with the company philosophy. Eventually, Brix has identified its strategy as developing every design project "from scratch". Here, the close attention is focused on details, because it is details that determine the originality and the level of accomplishment of the finished product.
