Bisazza, one of the top-range producers of glass mosaic tiles and interior accessories, caused a furor at Cersaie 2014, having presented its ground-breaking project, Contemporary Cement Tiles. Dal Bianco is one of the Contemporary Cement Tiles collections. The collection is named after its creator, Carlo Dal Bianco. Maestro Carlo Dal Bianco and Bisazza have been collaborating for more than 10 years. The series is ideated under the influence of the traditional technique used for the original cement tiles production. Every cement tile, formed and painted by hand in artisan workshops, is absolutely unique. The collection by Carlo Dal Bianco evokes the essence of authentic cement tiles. It embraces 26 designs applied either on square, or on hexagonal tiles. Every design is available in 12 chromatic variations. Passionate about flowers, Carlo Dal Bianco selects them as a keynote of the tile series. Being individual decorative elements in mosaic panels, in Dal Bianco, the flowers form magnificent tapestries to be set in bedrooms and living rooms. The austere geometric shapes and abstract motifs are also present in the collection. Noteworthy is that the patterns of Dal Bianco ideally match other series of the Contemporary Cement Tiles, for example, I Colori plain tiles or I Fregi BDS borders. It should be noted that cement tiles are produced by hand. Therefore the tiles of the same batch are characterized by strong color variation. After waxing, color variations become less visible and vanish in the course of time.
