Slightly elevated tile edges, miniature cavities, pleasing relief, traces of surface smoothing, so characteristic of handcrafting, compose the image of Terrae. This sophisticated series was presented by Settecento at Cersaie 2014 and was highly appreciated by everyone who visited the company booth. Here, the designers simultaneously imitate two textures, those of terracotta and cement. This combination of materials has become increasingly popular over the recent years. Six delicate shadings belong to the greige gamut. The collection amazes by the variety of sizes: from large rectangles and hexagons of 47.8×97 cm to small squares of 23.7×23.7 cm. The artistic decors recall terracotta articles with metal engraving. The surface of the decorative pieces is deliberately antiqued to enhance the similarity to the centuries-old terracotta floors of monasteries and temples. The range of decors includes four patterns in two colors (warm brown beige and cool gray), and two sizes (47.8×47.8 cm and 23.7×23.7 cm). These elements are excellently matchable with backgrounds of all colors and sizes.
