Hayon was presented by Bisazza at Cersaie 2014 within the Contemporary Cement Tiles range. Like other collections of the project, it is named after its creator, the Spanish designer Jaime Hayon. The series is inspired by the magnificent landscapes of the Iberian Peninsula: the green hills of Galicia, the citrus scented boulevards of Valencia, the highlands of the Pyrenees and the spellbinding Mediterranean Sea. The palette shadings are named after the Spanish cities and provinces (Toledo, Bilbao, Granada, Galicia, Mallorca). The five coordinating patterns presented in this collection may be freely mixed to obtain versatile ornaments. Besides, four designer layouts are offered in the catalogue. It should be noted that cement tiles are produced by hand. Therefore the tiles of the same batch are characterized by strong color variation. After waxing, color variations become less visible and vanish in the course of time.
